Hourly work rate
You may want special features that aren’t included in our regular pricing structure. For example, you might want dynamic content capabilities, (that allow you to edit your own websites), or e-commerce options, (so customers can accept payment for products and services via your website).
To implement these features, we charge a standard hourly rate. When we provide a quote for special features, it is an estimate only. But don’t worry, if the time required to complete the work exceeds the amount quoted, the designer will stop and only continue after consulting with you.

Flash introduction pages
Flash is software used to create graphic animations. An introduction page is a page that greets website visitors, welcoming them to the site before they see the main content of the site. So, a flash introduction page is a page with a graphic animation that the visitor sees before clicking to continue in to the website.
The advantage of a flash introduction page is that it creates a unique start to the visitor’s experience on your site. It shows the visitor that you went the extra mile to create a unique web experience for them.
The disadvantage is that on some computers the flash animation may not work. This could be the case if certain plug-ins or updates haven’t been installed on the computer, or if the visitor’s internet connection is too slow. That’s why flash introduction pages usually have a button that can be clicked to allow the visitor to skip the flash introduction and go straight to the main page.
E-mail contact forms
E-mail forms are used to collect information from visitors to your website. The most common use for a form is to allow people to get in contact with you without having to pick up the phone or compose an e-mail. They just enter their own contact information into the form, write their message, and click “submit.” The content of the form is then sent automatically to your e-mail address.
Changes
We charge by the hour to make changes to websites.
Discounts are available in the form of “Maintenance Packages” for customers who want to purchase blocks of time for making changes in advance at the time of purchasing an Online! package.
If the website isn’t hosted by Canuka, you’ll have to provide us with “FTP login details” in order for us to access and make changes to your files, or you’ll have to provide us with the files to modify and we’ll give you the updated ones.
Work on websites not created by Canuka can take significantly longer. Customer Relations will be glad to prepare a quotes for these projects.
